It has been a very busy time in 3/4B since returning from remote learning! We’ve spent some time in English learning about information reports by presenting and reflecting on our ‘Seven Sacraments’ project which was completed over the course of remote learning. In Maths we’ve begun a new topic: multiplication. Over the last two weeks, we’ve learned about a number of new strategies for solving those tricky problems and have grown much more confident in our ability to do so independently!

Throughout the last two weeks of Religion, we’ve been learning about the sacrament of Holy Communion and the way we celebrate it annually during the feast of Corpus Christi. In doing so, we’ve learnt a number of new words which relate to the Sacred Vessels we use inside and outside Mass; monstrance, ciborium and chalice to name a few! Since one of the major features of Corpus Christi is the procession which follows the monstrance, we’ve taken some time to design our own beautiful and shining monstrances! These are now on display outside our classroom for all to see!
