Dear Parents and Carers,

World Teachers' Day

Today we celebrate World Teachers’ Day, a special opportunity to recognise and thank the incredible teachers who make St Mary’s such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Every day our teachers give so much of themselves in so many ways. They so generously give their time, their creativity, their care, and their hearts. They plan engaging lessons, create welcoming classrooms, and find countless ways to support and inspire our students. Beyond teaching knowledge and skills, they build confidence, encourage curiosity, and help children discover their gifts and talents.

What makes our teaching team truly special is the way they see each child as an individual and work so hard to bring out their best. They celebrate successes, guide students through challenges, and do it all with warmth and dedication. Their impact extends far beyond the classroom, shaping the character and spirit of our students in ways that last a lifetime.

On behalf of our entire school community, I want to express my sincere gratitude to our wonderful teachers. Thank you for all that you do each and every day. You are deeply valued, deeply appreciated, and we are so proud to celebrate you this World Teachers’ Day.
