School Uniform
Immaculate Heart of Mary (St Mary’s) Catholic Primary School is an inclusive school where the uniform reflects the needs of the students. We pride ourselves on our uniform and the way it is worn. The children in our school value the uniform and wear is with pride. The families at St Mary’s are committed to ensuring that the uniform their children wear to school each day is chosen from the list below.
- Gold polo top with school logo
- Black school issued skorts with plain black socks or black tights
- Black school issued shorts with black socks
- Black school issued pants with plain black socks (no logos)
- Green and white checked dress with plain white socks (no logos)
- Windcheater with school logo
- Fleecy jacket with school logo
- Microfibre jacket with school logo
- Long sleeve polo shirt with school logo
- Green tartan tunic or skirt with plain black socks or black tights
- Plain black shoes (no logos or colours other than black)
- Green, gold or white hair ties/head bands
- Wide brim green school hat
Sports Uniform
- Gold polo top with school logo
- Black mesh shorts
- Black tracksuit pants
- Windcheater with school logo
- fleecy jacket with school logo
- Microfibre jacket with school logo
- Sneakers are to be worn on P.E. days.
Sports uniform is to be worn on sports days only
We have school issue black coats for outside wet / cold weather days. Other jackets can be worn to and from school only.
Jewellery
- Only the following jewellery can be worn as part of the school uniform:
- Plain stud earrings or sleepers/small hoops worn in earlobes only
- Watches
- Necklace that displays religious symbols eg: crucifix, Mary, Jesus, Saints.
Hair
- Hair colour must be of natural colouring.
- Hair of shoulder, or longer, length must be tied back with hair accessories in school colours.
- Decorative hair accessories must not be worn.
Items not permitted
- Nail polish must be removed before attending school.
- Temporary tattoos must be removed before attending school.
Please Note: School sunsmart hats are compulsory during Terms 1 and 4 whenever children are outdoors.
We ask that parents contact their child's teacher if they are unable to wear the school uniform on a particular day.
All uniform items are available from our school uniform shop and payment is through CDF online payment.
